Meet the Founders

Jayelin grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and has played beach volleyball since she was 9. She played collegiately at Cal Poly for 5 years, graduating in 2023 with a Psychology degree. She finished her career with 93 wins, sitting as the 3rd all-time winningest player in Cal Poly history, and competing at NCAA Nationals during the seasons within 2019-2022. Post graduation, she pursued an assistant coaching position at Boise State University, where she helped the beach team have a season record of 31-12, the highest number of wins in a single season for Boise State. Along the way, she pursued a passion for teaching yoga, and is excited to give back to the community in San Luis Obispo, and put her energy into helping grow the sport of beach volleyball.

Jayelin Lombard

Susie is from the Bay Area and started playing beach volleyball at 16. She loved the sport from day one, and although she got a later start than her peers, she was determined to play at the college level. She got into Cal Poly for academics and walked onto the beach volleyball team her freshman year, where she was apart of two Big West Championship teams, and played in the Big West Champs her senior year. She graduated from Cal Poly in December of 2023 and has since decided to go back to school to get her teaching credential, in addition to Dig Deep. She is still passionate about playing the game and loves playing in CBVA tournaments across California. She is excited about helping develop the next generation of players and develop the sport of beach volleyball on the Central Coast!
